Mens Seniors 22/6/23
Had 50 turnout today in near perfect conditions.
We were lucky to get that many as some were still recovering from their winter solstice parties .
In Australia, that mid-winter day is known as the winter solstice. . Solstice comes from the Latin words sol (sun) and sistere (to stand still).
A solstice is when either of the earth’s poles reaches its maximum tilt away from the sun
